Cristina brings a valuable blend of mental health and case management experience to our clinical team. Prior to joining The Ranch PA, Cristina supervised case managers treating clients with mental health and substance abuse issues. She has provided outpatient therapy to individuals and families struggling with addiction and mental illness and has extensive crisis management and assessment and intake experience. Cristina earned a bachelor’s degree in human development and family science from Ohio State University and a master’s degree in community counseling from the University of Dayton.

Paula has over 35 years of experience treating substance abuse and mental illness in diverse populations. She finds great joy in helping people grow beyond their trauma, pain and addiction. She has a master’s degree in psychology with a specialization in addiction and is a certified advanced alcohol and drug counselor. Prior to joining The Ranch PA, she was a program director and supervisor for a residential rehab for women with substance abuse/co-occurring disorders and their children. She also worked for 10 years in a co-ed residential treatment facility treating substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. Also, she has 20 years of supervisory experience.
Paula’s areas of specialization include working with pregnant and postpartum women with substance abuse, grief and loss, trauma, and co-occurring disorders. Her therapeutic training includes cognitive behavioral therapy, Trauma Recovery & Empowerment Model (TREM), motivational interviewing, experiential therapy, relapse prevention, and dialectical behavior therapy, among others. When she is not working, she loves spending time with her children, grandchildren, and four dogs. Her favorite place is the ocean.

Amanda carries a CRS certification and has over 10 years of experience within the mental health and substance abuse field. With a background in facility operations, she understands how important continued support after initial treatment is. As the alumni coordinator with The Ranch PA, she adds a level of honesty, fun and passion for the alumni community. In her free time she can be found spending time with her daughters or in her garden. To Amanda, as long as she can bring a joy to everyone’s day then her mission will be accomplished.

As the residential manager for the last seven years, Melissa understands the importance of accountability. Getting her clients to where they need to be ensures that they are getting their most out of their treatment. But more importantly, she values the individual freedoms that her clients have access to while they heal. To Melissa, each client is a unique person with unique needs and not just a number.

After joining The Ranch Pennsylvania team in April 2019, Renee has made it her mission to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere to all new team members. In her position, challenge is expected. But through the support of The Ranch and the corporate team, Renee faces those challenges and has fun doing so. She loves being able to help clients find their healing path by finding the right person to lead them.

Jesse’s mission is simple; to help people. In his two and a half years with The Ranch Pennsylvania, he knows environment plays a large role in clients’ health. By providing a safe, home-like environment, he feels confident that each client can then focus on healing.

As the director of nursing, Rachel expects the best from herself and her nursing staff. Rachel holds a Bachelor’s nursing and has been sober herself for the last 24 years. She loves seeing her clients find a fulfilling life in recovery, especially those with deeply rooted mental illness. In her free time, Rachel teaches DUI classes and helps others learn the destruction that comes with drinking and driving.

As residential supervisor for the last three years, Michael has made it his mission to guide his team so in turn his team can positively impact their clients. By being an effective leader, Michael can help his clients as they journey to rediscover themselves.

With over 20 years of mental health and substance abuse therapy experience, Stewart understands the journey that clients must go through in order to heal from their illness. In his 5 months with The Ranch Pennsylvania, he has made it his mission to help clients in their mental health and substance abuse journey by showing them compassion and respect in as they create the foundations for a full, balanced life.

Edward carries 13 years of mental health and substance abuse therapy experience. To Edward, empowering and supporting his clients through their recovery journey is the most important aspect to his role. In 2018, Ed started as a Primary Therapist with The Ranch PA, and in October of 2020, he transitioned into his role as the Director of Environment of Care. Through this role he oversees all hospitality efforts related to the safety and cleanlieness operations throughout the facility. In his time at The Ranch PA, he has felt the supported by his team and the available resources. By tapping into this support, Edward feels that the message of hope and healing can spread to those who need it.

Andrew loves the different therapeutic approaches offer at The Ranch Pennsylvania. In the year that Andrew has been with the facility, he has seen how each client is treated as an individual, with each person’s experience differing from one another. As the adventure program assistant, Andrew guarantees that he will be there to support and also challenge his clients in the journey to find their most authentic selves.

For the last two and a half years, Dara has witnessed clients when they have that “Aha” moment in their recovery treatment. To Dara, seeing this moment is watching a person come into love and understanding for themselves. With over 13 years of therapy experience along with holding a bachelors in science and a masters in psychology, Dara still finds these moments to be the most powerful for her clients. Her mission is to love her clients as they discover love for themselves.

Meghan carries her Bachelor’s in neuroscience and psychology along with a Masters in clinical therapy and psychology from Millersville University. In the time that Meghan has been with The Ranch, she has seen the incredible changes that clients go through to reclaim their spirit and reconnect with their personal purpose.

To Jill, clients are her priority. With over 20 years of therapy experience and a Masters in Social Work, Jill understands the difficult journey clients must take in order to heal from their addiction and mental health disorders. She is always there for her clients, learning with them as they learn about themselves.

Hannah Welles joined The Ranch Pennsylvania team as a recreational therapist in October 2020. She earned her Master of Science degree in parks, recreation, and tourism in May 2020. Her graduate program research focused on the experiences of female veterans with disabilities and mental health diagnoses when engaging in an outdoor recreation-based treatment program. Her background includes working with adolescents and adults with various diagnoses in both inpatient and community-based settings.
At The Ranch Pennsylvania, she loves how the staff’s diverse experiences help support clients in complementary ways. It’s a team effort, and she’s proud to be a part of it.
