Welcome To Rooted: The Ranch PA Alumni Communities

Rooted is a free alumni program and service provided to alumni from any of the Promises family of treatment centers to attend for life and is offered weekly at a variety of cities nationwide and online through our virtual meetings on the Zoom platform.

As society is aligning with the social adjustments needed for purposeful distancing, we have adjusted our sails so that we can navigate these winds and lead our alumni and others in recovery through these storms while continuing to provide meaningful avenues of connection.

No matter what you are recovering from or what brought you here, WE ARE SO GLAD TO HAVE YOU JOIN US!

The Ranch PA Alumni Program

Your recovery journey doesn’t end when you leave The Ranch PA. Whether it’s for addiction, mental health, or a dual diagnosis, treatment is just the first phase of the rest of your life. After you leave the rehab facility, your goal changes from achieving recovery to maintaining it.

When you undergo rehab at The Ranch PA, your recovery is aided by our therapeutic living space and professional medical staff. Once you leave, however, life on the outside can quickly turn your recovery process upside down. We want to prevent you from relapsing, whether it’s resuming an addiction or losing control of a mental health disorder. That’s why we’ve launched The Ranch PA Alumni Program.

What Happens In Alumni Programs?

Alumni programs bring together former attendees of a treatment facility. Alumni programs apply to both addiction and mental health patients. The alumni network allows people in recovery from addiction and mental illness to connect with one another. These connections help recovering patients in many ways, including:

  • Professional connections, which help you rebuild your life after undergoing treatment
  • Support groups. Support group meetings are similar to group therapy and have been used in recovery since the 1930s. Peers share their experiences together as a way for the collective to grow and move forward. There are support groups for people dealing with substance abuse, mental health, or both.
  • Helping others going through earlier stages of recovery
  • Annual gatherings and community involvement

Joining The Ranch PA’s alumni program helps you retain the peer support network that helped you succeed in rehab.

One of the most important lessons of recovery, both before and after treatment, is that you don’t have to go it alone. This maxim is true in detox, where medical staff mitigates withdrawal. It is true in therapy when therapists and peers help you psychologically overcome mental health or addiction. And it is true after rehab, where alumni and support groups can help you stay on the straight and narrow.

Who Is Eligible To Join Our Alumni Program?
